Martin Presse is an award-winning keynote speaker, leadership trainer, and former technology leader with more than 30 years of experience developing people and strengthening organizations.

Before stepping fully into professional speaking, Martin spent over 20 years in the healthcare IT industry, working his way from the trenches of Desktop Support to Project Manager. Along the way, he learned leadership the hard way, through tight deadlines, system failures, stakeholder pressure, and the daily realities of frontline teams. That real-world experience shapes every program he delivers today.

Most recently, Martin served as a Program Manager in the education sector and later as Vice President of Student Services, where he led a team of 12 staff members and was responsible for delivering an exceptional student experience. His leadership background spans technology, healthcare, and education, giving him practical insight into both operational and people-focused challenges.

Today, Martin works primarily with middle managers and emerging leaders, helping them navigate the maze field of modern leadership, especially in an age shaped by artificial intelligence and rapid change. His focus is on the human skills that technology cannot replace: communication, accountability, emotional intelligence, resilience, and service excellence.

And yes, in his spare time, Martin is also a stand-up comedian who has performed across Western Canada. That comedic background explains his timing, stage presence, and ability to make serious leadership lessons both memorable and genuinely enjoyable.
