In the Procept family of companies, we have assembled a team of highly-experienced subject matter experts to help us improve all aspects of our clients’ project delivery including properly defining projects, selecting the right projects, planning and delivering those projects within expectations, and ensuring that the planned business benefits are delivered so that, in the end, the project was “worth it.”
Clients hire us to provide expertise they are lacking. To maintain our status as trusted advisors, all of our consultants and trainers must have a minimum of ten years of industry experience in the field for which they are applying. This means that new graduates, those at the start of their careers, or those who have just made a significant career change will not be considered for positions at Procept.
To prove that our team members have the subject matter expertise that clients are seeking, we expect them to have degrees, certifications, and professional designations that are above average for those in their industry. For example, it is not enough for our project management trainers to only have their Project Management Professional (PMP®) designation; to distinguish themselves further, they should also hold masters-level (or higher) business or engineering degrees, other related credentials such as agile and/or lean certifications, and ideally a certificate demonstrating knowledge of adult learning principles.
When in front of our clients, the appearance and behaviour of team members directly impacts our reputation. It is critical that we create the right impression of the company and its people: one focused on professionalism and competence. While interviewing candidates, we not only examine experience and skills – throughout our interactions, we are also seeking clues into the candidates’ personalities, attitudes, and communication styles to see if they are a “fit” for our organization.
Yearly, Procept performs a market analysis that determines what services and topics are of interest to our clients and then examines our capacity to meet those client needs. When we identify gaps, we start looking for qualified candidates who can deliver what we need. Below is a list of our current needs.
