Condo managers struggle with overseeing multiple capital and operational projects on behalf of the condo board. One way of dealing with the complexity and stress of such work is delegating responsibility to a property manager or by hiring a consulting engineer to oversee the project; however, those arrangements typically don't cover all of the condo manager's project responsibilities, leaving the condo manager liable for issues cropping up in unmanaged areas.
In this half-day course aimed at condo managers, participants will learn about their responsibilities over projects and procurements and how different delegation arrangements cover different areas of those responsibilities. During the discussion, condo managers will learn about how they can better structure and oversee procurement arrangements to better serve their condo boards and protect themselves by unforseen risks.
