Our philosophy is to recognize the uniqueness of each client, their needs, desired outcomes, and seek best-fit solutions to ensure a lasting increase in performance and achieve desired outcome. We know that one size does not fit all.

With over 60 years of experience and strong foundational offerings in the areas of assessments, leadership curriculum and coaching, sustainment, and accountability we are well positioned to provide a best-fit approach and methodology.

Our Learning Solutions Model™ is a formalized model developed for clients to assess their current situation, evaluate the desired objective and design a customized learning solution unique to their environment. At its core the Learning Solutions Model™ is a stream of connected learning interactions, ultimately leading to bottom line impact for both the organization and the individual through a focused, tailored approach to meet specific needs.

The Conference Board of Canada awarded Procept’s TidalShift subsidiary with its Training Award for its innovative Learning Solutions Model™ that brings a holistic view of employee development that leads to faster and more sustained behavioural changes. The Conference Board of Canada stated that our “Learning Solutions Model provides tangible and practical bottom line results”.

Below is an outline of the model:


  • Assessment: Determine the level of need for individuals, work groups or the organization as a whole based on LIFT objectives.
  • Training: Provide an instructional experience that motivates the learner while developing relevant skills and behaviours.
  • Coaching: Build coaching formally into development to help people master behaviours and address individual concerns and challenges when trying to apply the learnings in the workplace.
  • Sustainment: We work with clients to show the impact that the training has on the organization, whether it be in terms of improved performance, productivity gains, better employee engagement and improved customer service. We provide ongoing learner-directed support such as exercises, references, mentoring, coaching, and our Member’s Portal which offers the learner access to tools and templates, e-learning, videos, and more.
  • Accountability: Define the performance expectations, measure and report and set rewards or consequences.
