This certification is based upon the most comprehensive curriculum where you will learn all key aspects of training from performance consulting and up front analysis to design, delivery and back end validation.
To earn this certification, six (6) courses are required:
- Needs Analysis, Evaluation and Validation
- Instructional Design
- Effective Classroom Instruction OR Teaching Technical Topics
- The Trainer as an Internal Consultant
- and any two (2) electives chosen from the following:
- Effective Classroom Instruction
- Web-based Training
- Teaching Computer Systems and Software
- Facilitation Skills
- Managing the Training Function
- Teaching Technical Topics

To enroll in PMI's professional certification program, simply complete and return the application form identifying which classification best suits your needs and note any PMI programs you have already completed. All PMI workshops completed over the past three years will be used toward the attainment of your certificate and you may be certified in more than one classification. A status report will be sent to you once your application has been processed.
